More than 80 people thronged to Waltham, Mass., on Thursday October 27, 2005 for a grand celebration
of the 20th anniversary of the first customer ship of Freelance Graphics.

Over 30 people turned up including Irfan Salim from the USA. A great time was had by all especially as some had not seen each other for over 15 years. Older, wiser - who knows
- who cares - the beer flowed and the stories grew better.

AXLE Golf Tourney & Barbeque
Well, the 5th birthday of AXLE has come and gone. We celebrated at the 2nd
Annual AXLE golf tournament at the Wayland Country Club on August 12, 2002
and a good time was had by all. Internoded took 1st prize again with
a winning score. The winning team took home a
copy of the Championship Golf PC game so that they can continue to play golf
year round. A special thank you to Paul Greenough's team for coming in last
place because someone has to! Hopefully the new golf balls you won won't all
end up in the woods. Thank you again to our sponsors - Captaris and Internoded -
for helping to make this a great event for us!

Erin Liman, the Principal at InterPlay Arts, a coaching, collaboration
and consulting company, organized this event at Perry's in Palo Alto on
Wednesday, March 6th.

: The 1st Ever AXLE Golf Tournament
Well, the 1st Ever AXLE Golf Tournament was good fun.
So much fun, in fact, that we forgot to take pictures!
The winning team for the scramble golf tournament
with a score of 8 under par (which they assure us was
legit!) was: Jim Grady, Jim Napoli, Mark Berglund and
William Kelly. The team who came in last with a score
of 3 over par (which was also totally legit) was Chris
Wraight, David McGinty, Greg Lazar and Carole Gunst.
Each member of the team won a can of tennis balls.
Perhaps it's time to take up a new sport!
Cambridge
: April 2000 Reunion Party!!
AXLE's hard-working Board planned a wonderful reunion and welcomed back
a record number of alumni to the Cambridge Sail Loft on April 11, 2000.
Despite a rainy night, the atmosphere was very festive. The wide
array of delectable goodies included drinks, nachos, and chicken wings.
Carole Gunst, co-founder of AXLE, was impressed with the wide
range of attendees. "Reunioners represented two decades of Lotus employees, from the
early 80's to the year 2000," said Carole.
"Once again, I had a great time looking back, catching up,
and making plans with my former colleagues," said co-founder Chris Wraight.
