If you'd like to join us in celebrating AXLE's 5th birthday at the Wayland Country Club but don't golf, then just join us for the BBQ part! Simply let us know that you will be joining us for dinner and send a check for $25 to: Jason Lee/AXLE Golf; POB 2902; Kirkland, WA 98083-2902. Unfortunately, we can't take people day of the event due to food count. Directions and dinner time will be posted on the AXLE site closer to August 12th. Actual News Almost 30 people turned up for the latest reunion of the UK Chapter of AXLE in Maidenhead. A great evening was had by all at least judging by the fact that many people were there until just before closing time! We had most of the original founder members attend the Class of '84. Some people had not seen each other for 15 years or more - so there was a lot of catching up to do. What was very striking was the large number of people in the group who had gone on to start their own businesses after leaving Lotus. Even better - the pub was doing a special of a curry and pint of beer for less than 5 quid! We hope to arrange another get together in the Fall. Contact Adrian Moss (Adrian.moss@btinternet.com) if interested and not already on the AXLE UK e-mail list. Update, Update, Update! Don't forget to update your member profile. Moved? Changed jobs? Noticed anyone missing? Help keep AXLE vibrant and growing. Go to the "Who Are We Missing?" on the directory page and share a lead. If you can't remember your password, simply email webmaster@axle.org and we'll help you out. Hope to see you on AXLE.org! Carole Gunst, Jason Lee, Reed Sturtevant, & Chris Wraight
